Mini Horses Rescued!

February 2013

We received a complaint about 26 miniature horses living in a muddy paddock. Many were underweight, had overgrown hooves, and were suffering from respiratory issues. Law-enforcement officials were aware of the situation but said that they could not reach the owner. We provided them with the owner’s contact information, and within a few short days, she agreed to surrender all the minis. They were transferred to a miniature-horse rescue, where they’re receiving veterinary care.
