Join The Whirly Girls as we ride on the Platte. Meet at the gravel parking lot on the southwest corner of Little Raven & 15th Street (across the Platte from REI) at 1pm. As Team Captain of The Whirly Girls, I am most interested in supporting newer, less experienced riders, so we won't be doing more or going faster than everyone can do and go. Or, if there are two groups (one up for more and faster, we could split into two groups). Most importantly, this team is about FUN, not competition. So I hope you'll join us for some fun. We'll have beer at beer thirty, just so you know. Questions? Contact me! xoxoxoxo   Maggie Doyle  Whirly Girls Team Captain

For anyone that just wants to do the climb up Squaw pass, meet us at the bottom (this is recommended).  We'll send the speedsters up ahead, the rest of us can climb at our own pace, and when the fasties have turned around at Echo Lake and are heading back down, we'll all flip u-turns and proceed back down.  Squaw Pass is an 18-mile climb, so just this section of our ride will be 36 miles up and back down.  From base of Squaw we'll return to Morrison via Hwy 74/Kerr Gulch.  Start/finish in Morrison route will be 4+ hours and over 8k ft of elev gain! If you're in doubt, just do the Squaw climb with us!
