Cognizo

We’re Cognizo, but you might not recognize the name.

You’ve known us for the last six years as the CATS applicant tracking system, our main product. Launched as the first open-source ATS in 2006, CATS was the response to our own needs as a recruiting firm (Cognizo), a fact that may help you answer the riddle of the CATS name.

Recently we launched two new recruiting products, Resfly and lesshr, that didn’t quite fit under the CATS umbrella. At first we weren’t sure how best to identify ourselves in this new form, but of all the options, we felt most comfortable in our history as Cognizo.

Asim calls Cognizo our laboratory. It’s a place to experiment. As a company we’re growing, and our vision is expanding. We want to try many things. As always, we’re dedicated to building amazing web-based apps for recruiting/HR and who knows, maybe something completely different.

There’s a lot to be excited about in the future of Cognizo, and we’ll be sharing more as time goes by.
