Antipode

Antipode was originally founded in 2006 and performed their first skit/dance show at Setsucon ‘07. The eccentric dance group has combined their love of otaku/nerd culture with their love of belly dancing to create a unique form of dance known as geek belly dancing. Antipode performs throughout the year at numerous conventions.

The group is primarily made up of four dancers: Ayla, the choreographer; Merika, the costumer; Termariel, the scriptwriter; and Linwe, their newest member. Though primarily the four, Antipode has had multiple guest dancers grace their shows. Many of these dancers come from the Penn State Belly Dance Club.

Fusing the theatrics of acting with a mix of cosplay, pop-culture, and off- beat humor Antipode brings the audience not just dance, but full geek entertainment.

Richard Epcar

Rusty Gilligan

Rusty Gilligan has been a fixture in comics since 1978 with credits including Marvel, DC, Big Bang, Image, Heavy Metal and more. His film work includes the original “Heavy Metal”, “Spider-Man 2 & 3″, and more recently “Captain America”, the "Avengers", and “The Walking Dead”. At the end of 2014, Rusty will be working on a new comic book motion picture.


Back in 1993, Rusty was working for card producer Clubhouse Diamonds and actually created the first ‘sketch cards’ in the trading card hobby. To his surprise, it soon took off and became a world-wide phenomenon. 
In recent years, Gilligan rejoined the sketch card arena and has provided cards for Upper Deck, Breygent Marketing, Cryptozoic Entertainment, Cult-Stuf, and many others.

As the publisher behind Rusty Ink!, he's released the popular funny animal comic "Mac and Trouble" as well as the "Mac and Trouble's Amazing Tails" series.
 He's also released "Recollection Magazine", an exciting retro collectibles magazine.

Recently, he's provided illustrations for a Doctor Who card set and guide, a new Mac and Trouble comic book, and is about to work on a new "Planet of the Apes" book and a film for DC. 

Look for the 6foot tall "Mac" who accompanies Rusty at his appearances to grab one of Rusty's exclusive promo cards and show art prints!

Jason Lenox

Jason Lenox is an illustrator who specializes in penciling, India ink rendering and sequential artwork.

His most recent project is “The Art of Jason Lenox Volume #2” released in May of 2014.

Jason has self published two anthology comics- UGLI STUDIOS PRESENTS #1 & #2. He also creates prints, posters and does freelance artwork. He has contributed material to Dark Horse Comic’s King Conan as well as several independent comics: En Tenebres, FUBAR: By the Sword, and Wyrlwynd’s Kantara. Jason's artwork is also featured in two role playing game modules in 2014: Classic D&D Retro Module: The Hanging Coffins of the Vampire Queen and Arion Games: Beyond the Pit 2.

Jason's artwork also appeared in the 2013 Tribeca film "Zero Charisma".

His next two projects, “UGLI STUDIOS PRESENTS #3” and his third volume of artwork, are targeted for a 2015 release….

Stephanie Sheh

Stephanie is really excited to be attending Setsucon! She is best known for her voice-acting in anime (Hinata "Naruto", Orihime "Bleach", Eureka "Eureka 7", Yui "K-on!", Mikuru "Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya", to name a few). She voices Zhu Li in "Legend of Korra", Share Bear in the Hub's "Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-lot", Lisa in Warren Buffet's "The Secret Millionaire's Club," Mrs. Rabbit in Nickelodeon's "Peter Rabbit", Jinafire in Mattel's "Monster High" and Duchess Swan in "Ever After High." Stephanie has also voiced numerous videogames such as Rebecca Chambers in the "Resident Evil" franchise, "Bravely Default", Natalia Kimlasca Landvaldeer in "Tales of the Abyss", to name a few. Stephanie is also an ADR writer (Oscar nominated "Ernest & Celestine") and voice director, and she produced the simultaneous release of the English Language Production of "Gundam Unicorn" in which she voiced Mineva. Ellyn Stern

Ellyn Stern is a classically trained actress, voice actress, director and writer, whose career spans from film, to television, to stage. Ellyn is widely known for her voice work and the wide range of characters she has played. She has done hundreds of characters. She started in anime with the original ‘Robotech’ series- in which she played numerous characters. Ellyn is featured in the new animated feature ‘Wrinkles’, starring Martin Sheen and Matthew Bodine. Some of her more popular roles include: Martha Vist Carbine (Gundam Unicorn), Dorothy (True Crimes, Hong Kong), Masaki Kurosaki (Bleach), Miyuki Goto (Noein), Jack’s Mom (MAR), Haraway (Ghost In The Shell 2 - Innocence), Rosalind (Armitage III), Himeno (Fight!! Spirit of The Sword), Sayaka (Metal Fight Miku), Moru (Vampire Princess Miyu), and many more.

Uncle Yo

Karl "Uncle Yo" Custer was born in the year of our Lord Optimus Prime and for seven years has toured Ani-merican conventions for gaming, ponies, anime, and all the 4channy horror in-between. He is the host of the eclectic, weekly podcast, "We are the Geek" and the show-runner of Youtube's puppet-driven sitcom, "Dungeon Crawlers," in which fantasy monsters must first survive being...roommates. This year's comedy show is entitled "Fandoms and Facepalms" to explore what happens when fans stay out of control.

DJ Zing

Returning to Setsucon for a third year in a row, DJ Zing brings over 10 years of DJ'ing experience to the table. An east coast up and coming performer, Zing promises an old school DJ experience with new school sounds. Specializing in house, trance, and high energy UK hardcore, Zing offers music to make anyone's con night enjoyable and memorable. Large or small venue, Zing has proven he can handle whatever the crowd throws at him. Are you up for the challenge this year?! See if you can keep up!
