After a hailstorm a few months ago many of our neighbors were getting new roofs put in. With our Colorado weather (particularly gusty wind) we've always had problems with our roof, including the ingress of squirrels and, increasingly lately, leaks, so we really wanted to get it renovated/replaced. I spoke to a Mad Sky representative (Sharon) and emphasized that I knew nothing about roofing, that we'd never made a home insurance claim in the nearly 12 years we've owned our home, and that I didn't have any money out of pocket to deal with anything beyond our claims deductible. I made it clear that getting good service with no nonsense was very important to my wife and me. She took a lot of pains to answer my questions and to explain the process, and after some research I went with them. There were some complications as we went along, but nothing Mad Sky did wrongly. For example, there were adjustments to get shingles that met my insurer's specifications for a premium discount, and a problem with the shingle color we had originally picked out with my HOA's approval (my HOA are a difficult bunch). Throughout it all we experienced great professionalism, and prompt communications from them, and they also made concessions which made it clear that they really wanted and valued our business.

In March I bought a Groupon for Total Chaos Paintball. I understand that merchants don't make much money from Groupons, but I expect they should be treated as introductory offers, a way to determine whether the establishment is worthy of later patronage at full price. Unfortunately, I must say that based on the customer support experience, I cannot recommend Total Chaos Paintball at all.

I followed the Groupon instructions to the letter, sending e-mail to the TCP e-mail address. I received no response. I followed up a few weeks later by e-mail. No response again. A few months later I looked them up through their Web site and tried to call them. It took me a few tries to get through. Last week I spoke to a gentleman who seemed civil enough until I mentioned the Groupon, upon which time he became irritable and soon hung up on me before I could make a reservation. I called again this afternoon and this time I told them I had a Groupon right away. i didn't want a situation where I get a reservation and go all the way from Arvada (I live near Boulder) and then I get the same rude treatment and have to go all that way for nothing. The gentleman on the other end of the call was immediately irritable, and somewhat incoherent, saying I must be a prank call and that they are "paintball, not pinball." I'm not sure where the "pinball" business came from or why it's relevant, but he pretty much hung up with me unceremoniously after repeating the "pinball" thing a few times.

At this point it seemed clear to me it was not an establishment interested in honoring the promotion that they themselves had set up, so I explained the above to Groupon tech support, by e-mail. To Groupon's credit, they responded by e-mail with an apology and a refund in less than an hour. That is customer service. Total Chaos Paintball might want to learn something from that.

I'm based in Denver, but I travel to Indianapolis on business fairly often.   On one trip a colleague went to eat at this place and came back raving. She insisted more of us go check it out, so I went along for lunch a couple of days later.  We all enjoyed the lunch greatly.  I had beef Chimichangas, and they were made with excellently flavored shredded beef, and neither too dry nor too soggy.  Others had fajitas and enjoyed them as well.

The manager came out to talk to us a couple of times, and the second time he asked us that if we like the place we should spread the word.  Apparently they took over from another Mexican restaurant which ended up with a pretty bad reputation, and they felt some of that was unfairly tarnishing them.  The local folks confirmed that there used to be a Mexican restaurant there with different name/decor etc.  All agreed that whatever had been there before, the lunch we had was superb.  I highly recommend it.

I'm a Nigerian immigrant living in Superior, and I'm always willing to make the drive down to Aurora when I need African foodstuff.  Makola is very clean, professional and well organized. The prices are reasonable and there is a good variety of food, including non-perishable packaged goods imported from West Africa, groceries and frozen meats, including goat and tropical fish.

I've trained in martial arts since I've been a child.  I've studied Rishin-ryu, Shotokan, Kenkokan, Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, Jujutsu and more.  American Kenpo is by far my favorite.  I studied this style in Dallas for three years, achieving brown belt before moving for work purposes.  I was excited to find another such school nearby now that I live in Colorado.  I've not been disappointed at all, and in fact, I can't recommend Colorado Kenpo Karate highly enough.  The head instructor Mr. Sandy Stapp has a great understanding of the individual needs of each student, and he unfailingly puts students first.  He is personally involved in all the classes, including kids' classes.  It is not the sort of over-commercialized operation that's become too common nowadays.  The school does not push long contracts and extra purchases.  The foc
