In 2010, Corporate Pro Bono (CPBO), the global partnership project of Pro Bono Institute and the Association of Corporate Counsel, developed a benchmarking survey to provide insight on trends in in-house pro bono and to collect data from a wide variety of departments. CPBO publishes the results of the survey in its biennial benchmarking report, which enables legal departments to evaluate their pro bono programs and projects by comparison.

Continuing our "Best of the Conference" series of webinars, PBI, in conjunction with West LegalEdcenter, will be hosting the following webinar "Pro Bono in Practice: Criminal Justice" on June 25 at 1:00 p.m. ET.
This program will explore pro bono opportunities and legal developments related to the criminal justice system. The discussion will include the status of available pro bono opportunities, ranging from litigation to policy work; emerging legal issues; how to get started; and opportunities for collaboration.

Each summer, the Law Firm Pro Bono Project participates in a number of informational programs for summer associates, during which Project staff, along with firm partners, directors, managers, coordinators, associates, and pro bono committee members, discuss an array of pro bono-related topics.
