The difference is, you do not have the overhead of maintaining a full-time IT department. And we don’t have to be in the same city, state or even country as you are, since we can do most of the work remotely over the internet.
Unfortunately, no. We can provide some basic hardware troubleshooting but hardware diagnostics is really not our specialty, so it’s better to let the hardware experts to handle that.

It really depends on how complicated your requests are. Regular website monitoring and minor maintenance takes about 15 minutes per week (given the website is “in good health”). Simple tasks such as file conversions can be done in less than 15 minutes. Data entry or digital media upload can take several hours, depending on the amount data/files there are to process. Most IT/tech info research will take about 30 minutes in order to gather a good amount of useful and relevant information.
Again, it depends on the task and the complexity of it. You are welcome to contact us ahead of time to get an estimate time needed prior to submitting your service request.
We use a sophisticated time tracker software powered by Paymo. We also keep details notes of time spent and task accomplished.
When you sign up for Personal IT Helper service, you will receive a secured, encrypted link to an online spreadsheet (powered by Google Drive) where your task history, time used and time left is recorded. This link is accessible only to you (or anyone who has the link). If you have a Google account and would like the timesheet accessible only by your account, just let us know and we’ll set it up for you.
