    Yeah, sorry. You needed to comment out the next line as well…

    Great to hear that there are no crashes anymore. Would you mind sending me an email in order to avoid cluttering up the comment section here? Maybe you want to use our contact form – you dont’ need to write down your address here 😉

    Wait, I commented out all “if($cpid)” and now it’s working fine. Not logging out anymore.

    @Anonymous
    Could you please edit the related file?

    1) open with root privileges
    sudo gedit /usr/share/shutter/resources/modules/Shutter/Screenshot/Web.pm

    2) go to line 218 and put a # in front of it
    #my $nck = kill(9, $cpid);

    3) save the changes

    4) try to reproduce the crash

    Thanks for your help!

    Yes, exactly. It happened 2 times accidently and 3 to confirm. And one just now to check. With clean install from ppa and removed .shutter dir.

    All programs close I see only background, then I am on black screen with text:
    ubuntu 9.10 user-desktop tty2
    And back to GDM login window. Xserver crash maybe, I dont know how to post logs :(?

    This dosent happen with version 0.80(OK, just checked) and 0.86(I could not find this to check but I remember it was OK too), but every time with 0.86.1.

    Could you please provide some more details here? You cancel the website screenshot and your user will be logged out? Really?

    Something I noticed:
    * Canceling website screenshot causing logout on ubuntu 9.10.
    * imageshack.us direct link is messed up when exporting image.

    Sorry for reporting it here. I did not want to register @ launchpad. spacer
