The 2012 Beam Instrumentation Workshop (BIW12) sponsored by Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility will be held in Virginia from April 15-19, 2012, at the Marriott Newport News at City Center.

BIW12 will be the 15th biennial workshop dedicated to exploring the physics and engineering challenges of beam diagnostic and measurement techniques for charged particle accelerators. This meeting program will include tutorials on selected topics, invited and contributed talks, as well as plenary and poster sessions and vendor exhibits*. The recipient of the 2012 Faraday Cup Award, sponsored by Bergoz Instrumention, Inc., will also be announced.

This will be last BIW held, after which the International Beam Instrumentation Conference (IBIC) will follow the PAC rotation of Asia, Europe, and the US.
