Client

Barclaycard is Europe’s leading issuer of credit cards with 11 million cards in circulation worldwide.

Challenge

Its previous website lacked the strong visual design that its brand demanded, and it had grown organically without an overall information architecture strategy. This resulted in a site which failed to meet the goals of the business and the expectations of its customers. Barclaycard wanted a revamped site that provided new and existing customers with an outstanding user experience. The new site needed to but give them a fresh, aspiring look while also adhering to their current brand guidelines.

Solution

I led the experience design work to redesign Barclaycard UK, which included three rounds of research, a new information architecture and a detailed interface design. I worked closely with visual designers and interface developers to realize the final site.
