The Biosciences Area’s University/Hill Operations Office (UHOO) is one of four operations centers of the Biosciences Area established on October 1, 2015. The Operations Centers provide centralized administrative services and safety oversight for Biosciences Area research groups located in designated areas and buildings at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab).

UHOO supports research groups in many locations at both Berkeley Lab (Buildings 1, 6, 33, 54, 55, 64, 66, 80, 83, and 84, and KBase) and UC Berkeley (Stanley, Birge, Hildebrand, Lewis, Cory, Koshland, and Gilman Halls, Life Sciences Addition, and the Energy Biosciences and Hearst Memorial Mining Buildings). UHOO is in Room 201, Building 1 (Donner Lab), on the UC Berkeley Campus, and is managed by Kelly Montgomery, Environmental Genomics & Systems Biology Division Operations Deputy.
