I have uploaded new version 1.3.7.0 to CVS.
Here is the changelog:
- alsa support added
- wav support added for decoding ( adpcm, pcm, etc )
- pts handling added for muxer
- genre meta tag added
Please try it out and let me know what you think !
Here is the command line to get it:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/pymedia login
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/pymedia co -P pymedia |

Hi girls (and jbors ),
I checked out pymedia from cvs a few minutes ago. Although I have lame 3.96.1 installed on gentoo, it wasn't recognized by setup.py.
I had to add
/urs/include/lame to inc_hunt
and to change DEPS to
lame-3.96.* instead of lame-3.95.*
to make it fine.
Also in the setup.py the version 1.3.5 is still there, dont know if this is important.
Now wish me some luck with the pymedia/pydfb combo! |

|
|
I have pycar up and working (WinXP and Deb) using an earlier version of pycar and the latest Python24, Pymedia, Pygame, etc. I had tried in the past to get a CVS version up, but it appeared a bit broken. I downloaded the CVS and noted that there are new imports (common, vars, etc.) that my system won't reference. Is there a new dependency in the latest version? I have been hard at work building an AM/FM module for RadioShark, fixed CDDB (incorrectly calculated DiskIDs), etc. I am thrilled to see that things haven't stopped entirely on what has been a great starting point so far!
TIA! |

Sorry just saw it. I think if you make something like: lame-3.9* it would be better. Can you please test so I can make a change ? |

I'm preparing small redesign for upcoming Car2PC adapter support. So it may get broken little bit. I will check in latest development into CVS tonight. Thanks for reminding me |
