No Eyewear Technician 01/27/2016. Please be advised that there will be no on-site prescription safety eyewear technician Wednesday, January 27, 2016. She will resume on Wednesday, February 3, 2016.
Beginning on Thursday, October 22, ESH&Q Oracle web server (www-esh.fnal.gov) will use Services accounts for log in rather than a KCA certificate or an Oracle database log-in account as were previously required. The ESH&Q Oracle data-entry forms server continues to require your ESH&Q Oracle database log-in information. If you have any questions about this change or have issues logging in, please contact the Service Desk at x2345.
ESH organizational changes, read the transition plan here
Fermilab has begun an initiative to deploy Human Performance Improvement (HPI) as part of our efforts to improve efficiency, productivity and ESH. HPI is a powerful tool that helps one to step back, look at the big picture and make fundamental improvements in processes - both physical and mental. The primary effort will be to employ these ideas in the areas of hazard identification and mitigation, incident assessments and procedures.

We have integrated HPI into our FESHM 3020 - Incident Investigation and Analysis to investigate injuries and near misses. We are encouraging people to use HPI to look at their daily work and, certainly, when something goes wrong, use HPI to improve the process. A HPI database has been developed to standardize the HPI investigation process and make the finding of root causes and their corrective and preventive actions more effective.
