Joint research programs
The IBM Research - Zurich laboratory is involved in more than 80 projects with universities worldwide, participates in about 30 research programs established by the European Union, the Swiss government or the US government, and it cooperates widely
The Business Development & Relations team is the contact point for all these partnerships. It assists IBM scientists in identifying government research programs, in choosing the legal frame and establishing various cooperation contracts, and in administering them. It works closely with the Intellectual Property department as well as other IBM legal functions worldwide.
