Research Committee Homepage

This agenda is a revised version of the Research Agenda for Women's Studies Librarianship published in 2004 and has been updated by studying the research that has been done since the first agenda was written (2001-2010) in order to see what topics are still relevant and what new topics have emerged. It is divided into two major fields: intellectual access, which relates to the creation, access, description, collection, and teaching of women and gender studies information resources, and professional issues, which involves looking at the field of librarianship through a feminist lens. The revised agenda is a collaborative project of Research Committee members Marcia Barrett, Jennifer Gilley, Pamela Salela, and Susan Wood.
