While returning to Illinois from a Pennsylvania pigeon shoot site, the SHARK team spotted an injured goose. Watch this video to learn the story of that rescue.
On December 30, 2015, SHARK documented and rescued birds at a canned hunt held in Pennsylvania, where cage-raised birds were hand-thrown into the air and shot for fun. Three different types of birds were used for this slaughter; pheasants, pigeons and chukars. We had access to an adjoining property and were just a few yards away from one of the shooting stations, where we filmed the horrors that unfolded. Watch the video below:
In our last update we told you that we were in Oklahoma to film a cruel live pigeon shoot political fundraiser held by Jim Inhofe, the United States Senator from Oklahoma.
Even though Inhofe tried to hide where he was going to shoot, we found the location, Robbins Farm, which is in Greer County, OK. We set up legally on the side of a public road and then sent up our drone, called the “Angel” to film the shoot.

Analysis Reveals Someone in Sen. Jim Inhofe's Pigeon Shoot Fundraiser Fired Rifle to Shoot Down Drone Aircraft Recording Animal Abuse
OKLAHOMA – An observation drone – nicknamed "Angel" – shot down while monitoring a pigeon-killing fundraiser for Senator Jim Inhofe (R-Oklahoma) late last Friday near Altus in rural Oklahoma was definitely the victim of a purposeful attack, according to the results of an examination of the aircraft by an animal protection watchdog group. Sen. Inhofe was participating in the pigeon shoot when the drone was shot.The video shows extensive damage to one of Angel's motors, where the electronics were visibly blown away.
