A team of engineers and snowmakers are hard at work in Fenway Park on a massive 140-foot-high snow-covered ramp that will soon host the world's best skiers and snowboarders. We've known since the summer that Boston's 103-year-old Fenway Park would host a big air ski and snowboard competition this winter, but now we have all the details on what to expect.
The Village at Wolf Creek
Another day, another delay in the 30-year fight over the Village at Wolf Creek. This time, however, things are turning nasty. A few months ago, the U.S. Forest Service approved a controversial land swap atop Colorado's Wolf Creek Pass that represented a milestone in the fight to develop a new mountain village. Now, after a U.S. District Court judge in Denver ordered nearly 60,000 pages of correspondence released, it looks like there is evidence that U.S. Forest Service officials tried to conceal documents related to their review.

A peek at Ikea's newly released coloring pages
You better sit down for this—and turn on the printer, and summon some fabulous markers—because Ikea just released its very own coloring book. No doubt jumping on the adult coloring book craze that's sweeping the globe (Curbed readers loved this extremely detailed, architecture-themed one published last summer) , the Swedish flatpack king did of course put its own spin on it, offering five downloadable pages covered with decor-themed items you might recognize from its stores.

The tiny home movement shows no signs of stopping, especially in ski towns where real estate prices are booming. For people who value design but can't afford the high-price of mountain land, the popular tiny home community of Fireside Resort in Jackson Hole has a solution. Curbed Ski has featured the gorgeous tiny homes designed by WheelHaus before, back in 2013 and again in 2014 when a slew of new press took WheelHaus to the big leagues. Now, WheelHaus just announced that they have 23 tiny home cabins with land for sale in Jackson Hole. And while their land-free tiny homes start around $91,500, those looking for a little slice of prime Teton Valley property will have to shell out at least $325,000.

Although in Europe train travel reigns supreme, here in the U.S. there are only a few ski destinations you can get to without a car. Outside Magazine has rounded up four worthwhile snowy destinations that may take a bit longer by train, but avoid the traffic of popular ski highways.

Rendering of a bathroom in The Fitzroy, a new condo building under development in NYC
Oh bathrooms: they are the best of rooms, they are the worst of rooms. When it comes to interior design and decor, bathrooms can bring a lot of fun (they're great places to try out unexpected materials or graphic tiles, for example), but also a lot of stress (they're often small, damp, and well, the part of the house no one wants to clean.) They're personal, intimate spaces where habits and preferences are born and ingrained, and where, not too surprisingly then, even the smallest things can tick us off. Take for the example, the freestanding bathtub (okay, this is actually a rather big thing, but stay with us here.)
