I’m more than happy to get on the phone with you. But because I live a non-routine lifestyle, if you just called me out of the blue, chances are that I would be either doing something that can’t be interrupted easily, or sleeping (even in the middle of the day), and I wouldn’t be able to give you my full attention.

That’s why I prefer to schedule any phone calls in advance.
