Getting to the Festival

The Sustainability Centre is located in Hampshire, between Petersfield and Fareham, near the villages of East Meon and Clanfield.

spacer

To make sure everyone can get to the Festival easily, we will be running a Shuttle Bus from Petersfield rail station on Friday evening and back on Sunday evening / Monday morning. This will also make a pick-up from the local bus stop in East Meon.

Parking spaces are limited, but if you are coming by car, you will need to book a parking place for the weekend (see below). We have created a liftshare page on the Freewheelers website. Can you offer a lift, or do you need one? Leave your details on the website here and see if you can help cut down on the number of cars coming to the festival!

Shuttle Bus

This service is being provided by the Sustainability Centre using their own minibus. There will be no charge for this service.

Friday

It will run from 4pm (first pick up at Petersfield Station) – then every 45 minutes or so, with the last pick up at 8pm.

It will also pickup at East Meon Church on the way past (for people who have got the train to Winchester and then the bus to East Meon).

The Petersfield pick-up point will be the front of the train station. There will be a Dark Mountain steward at the train station, with an attractive DM sign on a stick – they will be able to tell you when the next bus is due and keep you entertained while you wait.

Saturday

There will be a single pickup from Petersfield at 10am on Saturday morning.

Sunday

On Sunday the bus will run from the main gate 4pm – 6.30pm.

Monday

Due to staffing we are unable to provide a shuttlebus on the Monday. Lift or taxi share is recommended.

Train

The nearest train station is Petersfield about 7 miles, from which you can catch buses to the nearby villages of East Meon or Clanfield (both about two miles from the Centre). Alternatively, there is a good train service to Winchester, from where local buses also run.

Car

The site is easy to access by car – you can find directions on the Sustainability Centre website. The liftshare page on the Freewheelers website is a forum for people offering or needing lifts to connect with each other. Please use it if you possibly can.

Car Parking

Car parking on the site is limited – we are charging for a weekend car parking pass and using this money to run the Shuttle Bus – you will need a car parking pass if you wish to park at the site during the Festival – you can buy one on the festival ticket site.

Camper Vans

As for cars, we have limited capacity for camper vans – these will not be allowed on the grass of the campground, but will park in the car park immediately adjacent to it. You will need to book a campervan ticket on the festival ticket site.
