Membership Info

IMPORTANT: In accordance with NC Law, membership is required to attend shows at Local 506. Local 506 operates as a private club in order to serve liquor in addition beer.
Memberships are $3 and available at the door on the night you plan to attend.
Local 506 members are required to present their Membership Cards at the time of entry to the club. If you misplace your card or are unable to locate it, there will be a $1 charge to issue a replacement card.  We recommend taking a photo of your card with your smartphone so you always have it.

We give away one pair of tickets to every 506 to our membership mailing list.
All shows are All-Ages and Non-Smoking.

If it is past when we open doors, usually 8 PM, we will not answer the phone. Please text instead and we will respond.

Capacity/Seating

Local 506 has a 225 sellable capacity venue. The venue has approximately 30 seats (benchseating) available around the venue. These are generally first come/first serve (and they are normally the first to go).

Age Limit

We are All Ages for most shows and we do not allow smoking.

Membership Rules and Regulations

  • Only members are allowed to enter the club.
  • Fighting or other aggressive behavior, including any type of sexual harassment, is prohibited.  Members or guests who do not comply with the rules will be asked to leave.  Furthermore, any continuous negligent behavior will result in persons(s) being banned from the club.
  • No one under 21 will be served alcohol (beer, wine, and spirits.)  Customers under 21 will be required to have both hands stamped under-aged.  If any identification is removed or tampered with, he/she will be permanently banned from the club and reported to the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Divisions.
  • Local 506 reserves the right to determine the serving status of its members and their guests.  In short, no member will be served if they are intoxicated.
  • Under no circumstance can alcohol be removed from or brought into Local 506.
