Sports and leisure facilities throw up their own particular demands, requiring hard-wearing finishes and high standards of workmanship. Having to work around busy sports centre schedules increases the challenge. Within the local leisure industry Morris & Blunt is fast gaining a reputation for delivering high quality results with the minimum disruption.
Our work involved the conversion of an existing bar area into a new first floor gymnasium. Working in close partnership with Reading Borough Council and with a set budget, we procured the optimum materials and specialist finishes to successfully deliver this project in a difficult and busy location.
We collaborated with Wokingham District Council and Fitness First Ltd to create the first Harpers fitness gym for 8-16 year olds – an entirely new and innovative concept.
