We make a strong commitment
to the arts:

An $800,000 Mellon Foundation grant supports further integration of the performing and visual arts throughout the curriculum and in co-curricular activities.
A new arts campus is being built to house theater and film and media studies programs, anchored by the existing Williams Visual Arts Building.
The Creative and Performing Arts (CaPA) Fellowship program provides up to $7,500 to admitted students with a record of achievement in creative and performing arts. The funds are for students to pursue and develop their creative abilities.

Our exclusive focus on undergraduates means that professors give you—not graduate students—opportunities to conduct research with them in fields ranging from art to neuroscience to chemical engineering.
You can even get paid to do research through our EXCEL Scholars program.
