Fetishism is the sexualisation towards or by an object, situation or sensory stimuli which must be present for sexual arousal. Some fetishes are seen as more socially acceptable, such as shoes, and most people have a fetish to some degree. Other fetishes are generally very much misunderstood by the particular society of which the fetishist lives. Anything can become a fetish, the following are some examples.
