City chic meets garden green. Enter an urban oasis at this season’s premiere social event for young and stylish Bostonians. This annual event raises vital operating support for the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. A portion of the proceeds from this year’s Summer Party benefits the Museum Council Special Exhibition Fund.
The Summer Party, hosted by the Museum Council, is held in the MFA’s elegantly transformed Shapiro Family Courtyard. DJ Rich DiMare spins music all night long, while full bars provide specialty cocktails. Bid on fabulous artwork at a juried silent auction at Boston’s most renowned art museum. VIP guests enjoy a pre-party in the elegant Koch Gallery, 251, and VIP bar access at the Summer Party. Join the chicest crowd at the black-tie event of the season!

Start your evening in style at the VIP Pre-Party! VIP ticket holders are invited to arrive early for a celebration in the elegant Koch Gallery, 251. Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres amidst old master paintings in the grandest gallery at the MFA, as well as expedited access to the Summer Party once the main event begins.
2016 Summer Party Benefit Print Artist
Each year the Museum Council collaborates with a contemporary artist on a limited edition artwork exclusively for the Summer Party. VIP contributors receive a benefit print. VIP ticket purchasers can receive one print per household while supplies last. Quantity is limited and not guaranteed.
The MFA is pleased to announce Nicole Chesney as the 2016 Summer Party Benefit Print Artist.
Benefit prints will be mailed to all recipients the week after The Summer Party.
Juried Silent Art Auction
The Summer Party is a perfect opportunity to choose from approximately 20 paintings, prints, photographs, or works in other media by emerging and established artists. Proceeds from the silent art auction directly benefit the artist and the MFA. Check back in May to preview this year’s selections.
