Hold were asked by London’s Design Museum to create the marketing for Designers in Residence 2014 which is now showing as part of London Design Festival. The theme of the show was disruption - almost invariably considered a bad thing. We coined the strapline Challenging Convention, which was adopted for all the marketing material. We produced a number of poster concepts, each with a subtly different take on the idea of disruption. The chosen concept was a series of dashes interrupted by a single x. This evolved into a series of icons that represented each of the chosen designers projects. This is the final poster.

Although our remit didn’t include a number of aspects of the show, we submitted alternatives for the show logo and other collateral which, although unused, were warmly received. You can see more of the project in our work section. The show is on until March 2015 and is well worth checking out the design stars of the future.
