paramore Biography

The American rock band Paramore was formed in 2004 in Franklin, Tennessee. Band members include Hayley Williams, lead vocalist, Jeremy Davis, bassist, and Taylor York, guitarist. In 2005, Paramore released “All We Know Is Falling,” their debut album. In 2007, they released “Riot,” which went onto become US certified platinum, and certified gold in the UK, New Zealand, Canada and Australia. In 2009, Paramore released “Brand New Eyes,” their third album, which to date is their highest charting album.

Paramore released “All We Know Is Falling in July 2005. Their debut album reached the No. 30 spot on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. The first single to be released was “Pressure,” which failed to chart. They released a second single, “Emergency” and third, “All We Know,” which received limited airtime.

The band released “Riot” in 2007. They released “Misery Business” as the first single in June 2007. Rolling Stone in June declared Paramore to be “Ones to Watch.” The group also made their debut on live television on The Sauce, a Fuse Network daily show. In July they released “Hallelujah” as a second single. The video for “Misery Business” was number one in August 2007 at MTV.com for streamed video. “Crushcrushcrush” was the next single to be released from “Riot.”

In 2009, “Brand New Eyes” was released. “Ignorance” was the first single released. Other singles included “Playing God,” “Careful,” “The Only Exception” and “Brick By Boring Brick.”
