Midway Advanced Products Selects Schipul – The Web Marketing Company for Online Launch of B4® Personal Hand Sanitizer
HOUSTON, May 16, 2011 – An aggressive campaign to encourage people to clean their hands before they eat is underway, spearheaded by Midway Advanced Products with the help of Schipul – The Web Marketing Company (www.schipul.com). Midway recently launched B4, a single use hand sanitizer designed for restaurant table tops. To support the launch, Schipul has unveiled www.b4products.com.
Studies have found that as many as one out of every three people fails to clean their hands before they eat. Since germs that cause illness most often enter the body through the mouth, B4’s goal is to make it easy to combat these germs by putting cleanliness within reach where it’s most needed. The new B4 website and a coordinated social media campaign are designed to raise awareness about the importance of hand hygiene and remove the obstacles that cause people to put their health at risk by eating with dirty hands.
“We hope to achieve awareness and momentum online to convince the major distribution channels that we deserve shelf space,” said Brandon Houston, president of Midway Advanced Products. “Schipul did a great job of designing a site that looks and feels clean, which is the way we want people to think about B4.”
The new website is Powered by Wordpress, and features pages tailored to the interests of each of the target customers: restaurants, hotels, parents, teachers, caterers, hospitals, airlines and corporate offices. The site also emphasizes the company’s commitment to sustainability and charitable donations. To amplify the coordinated campaign, the site interacts with B4’s social media efforts, pulling in content from the B4 blog as well as Facebook and Twitter posts, which are maintained by Schipul’s Creative Services team.
