Recently we started setting up plans to meet with sdc people which is not something we usually do. Not sure if other people are like us but we have always just attended the parties with out really knowing anyone or have put our plans for the night out on display to mysteriously run into people. No pressure no commitments! Against what we have normally done we started emailing and texting got a sitter and were off for nights of fun to make a few fantasies happen. Every time we went out we had a blast but never with the people we went there to meet. I will never understand why some of these people want to set up a meeting and not show up. People that look nothing like their pictures also never cease to amaze me. We attend parties all the time and the guest list never looks like the crowd!
      Regardless of why they never worked out had we been meeting at someone's house or private party the night probably would have sucked and not in a good way. Meeting at swing clubs took the pressure off everyone! We met and moved on with the night good or bad. The club always provided the right environment for a good time.
     The best nights have always been unplanned. Maybe its not knowing what is to come. The excitement of what could be. We have always met the best SDC couples and singles by just going and being us.
     The good news is it never really mattered to us how it was going to work with the people we met. Every time we would go out our conversation was the same "What are your intentions for the night with these people" "I have none". This will always be my response because I don't need to swing. "Don't get me wrong I like it".But what I do need is the night out, I need to dance and drink one or two, I need the time with my husband to just be and not be judged for taking off my clothes dancing provocatively and having sex in front of people.
      We will still meet people but know we have no intentions. Its purly "our" night out!

I am approached by many members here due to my long extended experience. Well nothing seems to amuse me with the many people here who are so confused..lol! I get the question from the single man.."Why is it that we R so much of an outcast by many? Single Ladies: Why is it "I cant find the nice guy"? Couples: Why is it that we have to deal with single guys?...LoL! No matter who you are here and what you are looking for ..you are always going to find that one that erks your nerves! If you are here..its becuz u r a swinger and to me.. a swinger is a person that lives life opening to the many facets that the Lifestyle brings. The only advice I have for you all is to play the game right, honestly and correctly and maybe you will find watever it is you r looking for. In life as a whole you never know what is coming, but if you are open and honest maybe you will get what you expect. So dont come into this lifestyle thinking its only about sex, or getting the right partner, or having the time of your life...cum with an open mind and deal with watever happens openly. If its not your bag, well maybe you did not express yourself correctly on your profile and if its something you like, enjoy it, cause its wat it is for as long as you let it be.  Live life freely and safely and maybe then you can be "HAPPY"! ;p

Recently someone posted a comment on an SDC blog that others took exception to. Further, this person had some less than kind words about the blog creator on his own profile. While many people were bashing this guy for his comment, he was unable to defend himself because he had been blocked from the blog by the blog creator. Go figure. This blog is to give people an alternate forum to confront their differences. Since I have no one on my block list (unless they placed themselves there), everyone should be able to access this blogs to discuss their disagreements.

how many people would be interested in a party in the Jacksonville or Saint Augustine area. Thinking of high end place on beach or private river setting.

Has anyone figured out why most swingers start swinging in their forties.  I have my own theory about that.  I believe that when you're in your twenties and thirties, your mind associates sex as something pleasurable that leads to procreation.  Usually people in their twenties and thirties haven't had enough long term relationships to be able to figure out that sex with the same person gets boring after a while, no matter how great that person is in bed, how attractive they are or how much you love that person.  I think that when you're in your forties usually your kids are grown up enough that you are able to focus more on your sexuality again with the knowledge or myth that the clock is ticking and your sexual performance years may be diminishing soon.  By the time you're in your forties you're better able to appreciate the concept of recreational sex as opposed to relationship sex and you're more prepared to confront your sexual fantasies and make them a reality without worrying about what the rest of society may think about you.
I would like to hear your thought about this.

Like most of you, we're sure you get lots of party invites and they all look like so much fun, we would love to attend them all.  Every one we get gives a detailed description and cost of the party, but never tells us where the party is, I mean just tell us a city so maybe we can plan.  Is it us?
