After Blake Shelton and wife Miranda Lambert wowed with their duet on ‘America the Beautiful’ to kick off Super Bowl XLVI last night (Feb. 6), the country crooner appeared alongside fellow Super Bowl performer Cee Lo Green, as well as Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera on the Season 2 premiere of ‘The Voice.’
As the judges of the hit reality competition show continue to spend more and more quality time with one another during filming, Shelton has made a surprising admission about his extra-marital feelings for fellow mentor Aguilera!
Shelton, 35 married country star Lambert, 28, in May 2011, but the newlywed stunned his ‘The Voice’ colleague Christina, 31, when he recently confessed he had had a major crush on her! The unsuspecting diva was previously convinced that Blake was not a fan of hers and even asked his wife for pointers on how to get the singer to warm up to her onset.
Lambert then revealed that she once gifted her beau a signed Aguilera tour book and he was as giddy as a starstruck schoolboy about it. Once the cat was out of the bag, Shelton worked up the courage to tell Xtina that she was his “free pass” before he married Miranda! Apparently, his then-fiancee jokingly gave Blake the thumbs up when it came to targeting Aguilera for a pre-marital fling!
Shelton recalled the moment he admitted his crush on his co-star, saying, “I’ll never forget the look on her face.”

‘The Voice‘ hopeful RaeLynn, 17, revealed in her pre-audition performance interview — which aired during the Season 2 premiere of the show tonight (Feb. 5) — that she was hoping coach Blake Shelton would turn his chair around for her. She was, after all, performing ‘Hell on Heels’ by Pistol Annies, a country trio which features his wife, Miranda Lambert. Last season, Shelton was memorably lukewarm to someone performing one of his wife’s tunes. RaeLynn’s choice was a risky one for sure.
It paid off, though, because the farm girl got her wish, as both Shelton and Adam Levine turned their chairs around for her. She strummed her guitar and looked girly and cute with her red shoes, red lips, red fingernails and a big red, Carrie Bradshaw-style flower in her hair. She was incredibly fashionable for a girl who said she grew up on a farm 45 minutes outside of Houston and spends her days surrounded by eggs and combing horse hair. But it was her big, country-style voice that had two judges from two different genres vying to coach her.
Shelton and Levine bantered — with Shelton saying he could make RaeLynn a country star, while Levine swas aying she should want to be more, and he could help with that. She ultimately went with Shelton as her coach.
Season 2 of ‘The Voice’ started off strong, that’s for sure.

Miranda and Blake performed their version of America The Beautiful this evening at the SuperBowl XLVI Pregame Show. Country star Miranda Lambert has been hit with another tragedy as she heads for the funeral of longtime pal Mark Adams – her beloved dog has died.
Dixie passed away at her parents’ home on Thursday (Feb. 2).
Lambert took to Twitter.com on Friday (03Feb12) to share her grief with fans, writing, “My best friend, father in law and now my dog Dixie. My dog died thursday. My parents just told me. Headed now to bury my friend of 20 years.
“I hope what they say is right. ‘What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.’”
Lambert cancelled her show in Florida on Friday so she could attend Adams’ funeral. The mechanic died when a car struck him as he was helping a stranded driver by the side of the road last month (Jan12).
The father of Lambert’s husband Blake Shelton also died in January (12).
The country couple will have heavy hearts when they perform together at a pre-Super Bowl party in Indianapolis on Sunday.

Presenters and performers continue to trickle in for this year’s Grammy Awards, which take place on Feb. 12 in Los Angeles. Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley are among the first round of presenters for this year’s awards, along with Drake and Gwyneth Paltrow.
The Grammys have also added Katy Perry to performers lineup – she joins a list that features Adele; Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson; Glen Campbell with The Band Perry and Blake Shelton; Coldplay and Rihanna; Foo Fighters; Bruno Mars; Paul McCartney; Nicki Minaj; and Taylor Swift.
McCartney will also perform and be saluted at the MusiCares® Person of the Year Tribute on Feb. 10. Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas are among the star-studded roster of performers paying tribute to McCartney at the event. Other performers include Tony Bennett, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Duane Eddy, Norah Jones, Alicia Keys and James Taylor; Diana Krall and Neil Young with Crazy Horse; Sergio Mendes; and Katy Perry.
The 54th Annual Grammy Awards air live from Los Angeles at 7 p.m. Sun., Feb. 12 on CBS.

Miranda and Blake have released their version of American The Beautiful to iTunes. The couple will be singing the song Sunday Feburary 5 at Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis. Afterwards the second season of The Voice will air and Miranda will be a mentor for Team Blake.

Unfortunately, she has been forced to cancel another concert this Friday (February 3) in Tallahassee, Fla., due to the tragic death of a childhood friend.
Mark ‘Tex’ Adams was killed on Jan. 26, when he was struck by a vehicle while standing on the side of the road helping a motorist who had run out of gas. His longtime friend Miranda took to Twitter to express her sadness.
“I have lost a friend I’ve had since 3rd grade today in a tragic accident,” she tweeted. “When will this pain end. Please pray for peace.”
Later, the ‘Baggage Claim’ singer added an update to her more than 500,00 followers: “Thanks for the prayers. My friend is Mark Adams. We became friends at 9 years old. He was a great person. He is now in heaven with his dad.”
A somber Miranda then used the tragedy to remind friends and fans of how precious life is. “Please call your friends, especially the ones you haven’t talked to in a while or maybe are not on great terms with and tell em u love em,” tweeted the 28-year-old songbird. “It’s so hurtful when it’s too late to do that.”
Miranda’s Tallahassee show has been rescheduled for May 17. She will still head to Indiana on Feb. 5, to sing ‘America the Beautiful’ alongside husband Blake Shelton. She can also be seen on the small screen on Feb. 8, when she makes a guest appearance on ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.’ The show will air at 10:00 PM ET on NBC.
The reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year will keep her Feb. 2 concert date in Huntsville, Ala. Feb. 2. Her upcoming concert schedule includes stops in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Ohio. See her entire list of tour dates here.
