Creating Smooth Edges in Adobe Fireworks

In this screencast, I explain my technique for creating smooth edges that eliminate border doubling. This is a great technique to use when employing multiple layers to achieve lighting effects.

    Btw, Photoshop does not have an Erase blending mode… one more reason to love Fireworks! ;-)

    I have a technique of my own, that I think works as nice.
    You make a rounded-bordered rectangle. And the you make another one on top of it, leaving 1 pixel free from each side.
    Then you get a nice css-like border :)
