A little history
This website is the third (and final – I promise!) home of Boys Will Be Boys. The comic was running in the mX newspaper for about 6 months before I first made a website for it. That site was buggy and I didn’t have much control over it, so I put the comic, along with my other strip, Dan and Pete, on a site called Gatoons in late 2009. That site was ok and it built up a small, dedicated following. Dan and Pete changed format so I moved that to it’s own dedicated site which left Boys Will Be Boys all alone on a site called Gatoons, which didn’t make any sense. So I finally got my act together and launched this website in March 2011.
Boys Will Be Boys has been running in mX newspaper for nearly 4 years now. It is seen every Friday on the dating and relationship page, which is why the strip has a love/dating/sex/me-so-horny theme running through it. mX is a free commuter (which also explains why there are quite a few strips that take place on a train) newspaper distributed in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. It’s a light news/entertainment paper aimed at a younger demographic.
