Resources

We're excited to provide our SPARK family of Teachers, Administrators, University Instructors, Program Directors, Public Health Officials and many others with a robust library of FREE resources and tools. This collection of resources are the result of over 20 years of research and field-testing in the areas of physical education, after school, early childhood, and coordinated school health. We are constantly adding to this library so make sure to back often for the latest and greatest!

See the menu on the left for the list of resources we are proud to offer you, our SPARK Family. Additional FREE resources, such as Lesson Plans for each program and our SPARK Grant-Finder tool, can be found in other sections throughout the website. Resources in this section include:

Webinar Series: The 3rd Wednesday (the 3rd day of the week) at 3pm pst (SPARK Principle of 3's!) SPARK hosts a FREE webinar! Whether you are a seasoned SPARK Star, just learning about the program, or have an interest in the month's timely topic, this webinar series is for you!

Standards Alignment: See how SPARK aligns with national and state content standards.

Conference Calendar & Handouts: SPARK presents, exhibits, and disseminates SPARK awareness information worldwide. We hope you'll watch for SPARK at conferences and special events you attend, and visit the SPARK booth to speak with one of our representatives. This section also includes all the handouts used for SPARK presentations at each individual conference.

University Methods Instructors: University methods instructors love the SPARK manual because it provides pre-service teachers with a solid foundation of developmentally appropriate content, well-sequenced, and aligned to national standards. SPARK elementary physical education manuals have been used in this capacity since 1994, and over the years, myriad course materials have been developed and field-tested with thousands of students. If you are a current University methods instructor, upon request, you'll receive a FREE CD with a sample syllabus, course assignments, grading rubrics, a power point, and many more resources and perks.
