Creative Challenge 8: Paper Bags {+ Pinterest Contest!}
A few weeks ago I put out a call for entrees in our 8th Creative Challenge: Paper Bags, and I’m excited that today is finally here and we get to see what everyone has been working on! The rules of the game are simple: projects should be child-directed, but grown-ups are welcome to join in the fun if the mood strikes. And at least one paper bag (of whatever variety) has to be used.
I sometimes share what my kids and I have been working on, and today I’ll just give you a taste and turn the spotlight over to all the great ideas that are coming in from around the world. But come on back tomorrow and the rest of this week for more paper bag inspiration and highlights from the today’s Challenge.
Pinterest Contest
I’m a huge Pinterest fan (find me here: pinterest.com/tinkerlab), and I thought it would be fun to interact with this challenge through a Pinterest Contest. The project with the most repins by February 29, 2012 at 9 pm PST will win a $100 VISA gift card and 3-month subscription to Kiwi Crate (Kiwi Crate subscription is only open to U.S. residents).

Wonderful challenge! Excited to see all of the great ideas here. Can’t wait for the next one!
Your blog is amazing! Have you considered getting a button? I’ve put your address on my Linky page. kindergartenbasics.blogspot.com/ . I’d like to include your blog address in a book I’m co-writing for moms of preschoolers in our Resource chapter.
We had fun Rachelle! Your challenges are always so motivating to get creative! I could see doing these challenges at all age levels… We had more ideas for paper bags, but I always have more ideas than time! i love being encouraged to think outside the box, bag, egg carton, or whatever. A cereal box would be a good challenge (I was thinking this morning)!
I found you from No Time for Flashcards, and I’m so happy I did! We have a paper bag project ready to go, and I have an egg carton activity in my head that’s been waiting for an empty egg carton. Yeah! I’d love to be on your lust for the next challenge, too.
Hey There, not sure why, but when I try to copy and paste your cute lil button to my blog post, it doesn’t work. I’m still trying and it’s probably on my end.

One of my friends wants to repin me on Pinterest, but can’t find our project on the pin board – glittermudandducttape.blogspot.com/2012/02/paper-bag-fairy-dresses.html
(I hope it’s fair to have our friends repin our entries, I’m sure they will pin a ton of the other great ideas too)
I’m not sure if you’re following my Pins or not… pinterest.com/ShareRemember/
I plan to participate in the next challenge as well. : )
Now following you, Karenda! I was only able to pin the first 40 before my kids woke up this morning, and I think they’re all pinned now. Thanks for your patience, and yes — encourage your friends and family to repin you!! Good luck

I still don’t see our project on the pinterest board, but I’m not too worried. There are so many great ideas I don’t think our fairy dresses stand a chance of winning.
