White House Council for Community Solutions
The White House Council for Community Solutions supports President Obama's Summer Jobs Plus Initiative. The Council is working to unite all citizens across all sectors to go All In for Youth. Summer jobs are an important step in connecting youth to meaningful careers. The Council developed resources and information to support these efforts.
My American Story
Americas story is the story of volunteers everyday citizens who step forward to change lives and strengthen our nation. To expand the impact of volunteers on todays challenges, the Corporation for National and Community Service has produced My American Story, a series of television PSAs that feature ordinary Americans who have stepped up to be a part of the solution.

Driven to Help Homeless Vets
Veterans and Military Families
Helping homeless veterans get off the streets feels like work Duane Magee was made to do, and his tireless quest puts him behind the wheel for thousands of miles each year to find them. He is living proof to vets that recovery from homelessness and incarceration is possible because their story is his story, and his quiet mission to assist them led to his nomination for a 2012 Martin Luther King Drum Major for Service Award.
