Chelsea Costa

Contributing Editor, DIY

Chelsea Costa is a California farmer’s daughter born and raised, who became a music teacher, who then happened to make her way to NYC in an effort to be a professional actor (which has, oddly enough, been successful!) She grew up on an almond ranch and spent her formative years in 4-H; baking snickerdoodles, painting Christmas ornaments, and weaving friendship bracelets were not uncommon pastimes around the Costa household. Chelsea recently founded Lovely Indeed, her (mostly) DIY blog, while planning her recent wedding to the most adorable fella ever.

Jenny Batt

Contributing Editor, DIY

Jenny Batt is a DIY kind of girl happily married to the guy who can fix anything and pretends everyday is Saturday with their two sons, Henry and Hunter. As a child, she ran wild in the woods of East Texas and then was anything but soggy in Seattle. After meeting her husband in college, she planned her own backyard fete for their wedding. She graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and currently resides in Reno. She writes a blog called Hank + Hunt and outfits her Etsy shop of the same name with handmade heirloom quality garlands and party accoutrement. Her obsessions include her massive fabric and cake stand collections, baking, stalking the aisles of her local bookstore and ogling new fonts.
