The lovely Diana (the photographer behind this bridal shower inspiration shoot) and her husband Benjamin were recently married in a small wedding in Sedona. Wanting to celebrate with family and friends, this past weekend they invited their loved ones to their home for a gorgeous citrus-infused backyard reception. The yard was decked out with games like lawn bowling, croquet, and even a little kid’s hangout that Diana made from long scraps of pretty fabric. Guests were treated to great food and were even invited to pick their own grapefruit from trees in the yard to take home with them. I love the ease of this celebration and the exquisite attention to detail. And Diana’s gorgeous dress from BHLDN? Absolutely stunning. Congratulations Diana and Benjamin!

Hi guys! It’s Jenny here from Hank + Hunt with a plain and simple printable straight to the heart. Well, it is a plain and simple heart. This year I wanted something graphic and simple for Valentine’s Day, and as I searched around town I found that simple is kind of hard to find. What’s a girl to do? Well, this gal just made some and I’m sharing them here with you!

These printables include two sets – one with bunting, cupcake toppers and plain hearts. The second set is a Valentine’s Day card. These sure are simple, but in a sea of over-the-top foiled floral designs, these make my heart skip a beat.

Don’t forget you can be creative! Print out the plain heart page on sticker paper and cut out with a circle punch for seals or use the bunting flags as gift bag toppers.

I cut out the cards and I’m using them as inserts in little glassine bags for Henry to hand out at school. They are sure to be a hit.

Download your Valentine’s Day fun:

  • Valentine’s Day card (Note: This is a two-sided printable, remember to print the heart side and then flip and run the second page.)
  • Valentine’s Day party goodies (Tip: Trim inside the pink outline, or don’t and add a pink border to your printable!)

I’m basically outright obsessed with this color palette right now. Vibrant, saturated shades of bold tomato red and deep orange paired with soft and lady-like shades of melon and pink? It’s so perfectly fun and a rockin’ ode to the 80s. (Seriously, when did the wacky color combinations of the 80s become so fashionable again?) I am loving this color palette for a festive summer wedding or a really colorful birthday party. Or a bright, neutral bedroom infused with touches of pink and tomato. Love.

Hi, friends! I’m on set at a photo shoot today and with all the running around this morning I didn’t have time to finish getting this morning’s post up. So with that in mind I thought I’d sneak you a little peek of today’s shoot, which will be making it’s debut in all it’s glory here in the next few days. There’s a whole lot of neon and in a few moments we’re going to have a gaggle of toddlers making a mess of everything. Stay tuned! xoxoxo

Good morning and happy Monday, friends! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I can honestly say I had the best weekend I’ve had in a long time and it was completely refreshing. Nonstop smiling and laughing for three days? That’s my kind of loving life. Today I’m feeling inspired by road tripping. Heading out on the road alongside good company, rockin’ out to an iPod playlist, drinking way too much coffee, and taking long, happy moments to take it all in and soak up the scenes. I’m definitely loving road trips right now and can’t wait to go adventuring.
