What To Expect

Palm Valley may be different, but it’s different for a reason. We want people to feel welcome no matter who they are, where they come from or what they’ve done. We’ve always said “Come as you are.” We want church to be relevant, inspiring and exciting and put a personal relationship with Christ ahead of “organized religion”. Children’s Ministry
We consider children’s ministry one of the most important ministries at Palm Valley Church. Children are cared for in a safe and welcoming environment by loving, fully-equipped volunteers who have passed an extensive background check. During their time with us, your children will have the opportunity to learn about God’s love through Bible stories, children’s worship music and interaction with our PVC Kids volunteers. Kindergartners through fifth graders participate lesson-related games within a large group and enjoy an action-packed skit which teaches the Bible story and life application in a fun, engaging manner. They then break into small groups, by grade, for team time where an activity provides review of the lesson and interaction with their coach and friends.

Pro Child Policy
Palm Valley Church loves kids! That’s why we have created fun, interactive environments where your child will learn about the love of God in a dynamic way each week. We also care about Parents. In order to create a worship environment free from distractions, children under 6 are not permitted in the main service. To help you feel more comfortable bringing your child to PVC Kids at Palm Valley Church each week, we offer the following:

• Paging System & Secure Check-out
  With personal pagers and a secure check-in and check-out procedure, our electronic system saves time, increases security, and provides easy access for families attending our church.
• Family Viewing Room
  We provide a live video feed area for those with infants who are unable to be in the Children’s area, or for mothers who are nursing.
• Safety Team
  Our Safety Team constantly monitors the perimeter of our campus to ensure your child’s safety.

Student Ministry
The “SPOT” is THE place for Middle School and High School students on Sunday nights. Each weekend we design special worship services with teenagers in mind. These services are high-energy, interactive events where students can feel comfortable to invite their friends. We have our own student band that keeps the service rocking and a great teaching team that brings God’s word to life in different and creative ways.
