About
Hello there!
I am Kerry also known as Multiple Mummy! I have gone from a lover of science teaching, organising thirty pupils or more with Bunsen burners to the chaos and mayhem, that is looking after my three beautiful babies and my husband, plus running a household!
My husband and I have been happily married for seven years and together for for eleven. I went to university to study Occupational therapy and worked in London, working with clients with acute mental illness and then into amputees and surgery. Teaching however was still niggling at the back of my brain and finally I caved in and retrained!
My husband and I were delighted when we found out we were expecting our first born Noah! We had always wanted more than one but we never expected it to come along so quickly and in doubles! My sister did say, however ‘What did you expect, you call the first one Noah, they were always going to come two by two after that!’
The twins are now 2 years old and the Noah is 3 years old. Returning to work is now not possible because childcare cost are too much, and as much as I love my job I cannot pay to go to work! Strangely Mummy hood hood is the hardest thing I have ever done,(and I have done a few, Occupational therapist, waitress, barman and sales assistant) and the pressure of the huge imprint that I will have on the rest of their lives is huge!
I am loving every minute of it but sometimes my brain has so much musing around it that I think I might burst. Especially if I have not seen an adult in the whole day. My poor husband has to come home to my ramblings. So this is my release, my escape and my diary of raising twins and a toddler 15 months apart and the chaos and mayhem that results.
Hope you enjoy the read!
Just to mention – all content is written by the Author (Me!) and therefore my copyright – permission needs to be granted from the Author (me) to use any material from this site!
P.S I also co-write a blog called Science Sparks that produces lots of science experiments for kids that you can do at home, with a lot of pre-school activities as well! My three loves doing science at home, so go and take a peek!

I just wanted to say hello – I’m new to blogging and have just found your site but wanted to say hi because I am also a mum of three – a 4yrold boy and then 2yr old boy/girl twins. It’s hard to find others in the same situ, and I have an extra year between mine but I mostly know what you’re experiencing!
I look forward to following your adventures!
Hello! It is always lovely to hear from another twin mum, especially as you have another so close in age! Are you on twitter? Let me know so i can follow. Thanks for reading. x
Hi Kerry,
Just drop by to say hi.
I’d also quit my job and become a stay-at-home mom of triplets BBB. They are almost 14mths.
Triplets? My goodness and I thought I had my hands full. Are they on the move? Stair gates and the backpacks with leads have been my saving grace! x
Hi,
I, too, have 3 close together. Son born May 2004 and twin girls Oct 2005. Its been an experience lol I am having fun reading the exploits of your 3 littlies.
As you also know it is very entertaining but chaos most of the time. I am hoping things get a little easier…please tell me they do? xx
I love the Noah and two by two story! Brilliant. I know exactly what you mean about your brain being full of ideas especially not having an adult to share them with.
You need that stimulation of adults otherwise all you do it talk in three word sentences! Glad to have found your blog too! xx
Hi, I’m a stay at home mum too and I know what you mean by not having an adult to speak to all day, it’s one of the reasons I host au pairs, because I need some help with my three children, plus it’s nice to have someone from a different culture! Well, not always, but I pick the girls carefully.
Hi Hun,
Just wanted to drop by and say Hi, am a single mum to now 8yr old boy/girl twins and found you via an fb friend. I remember what it was like to not see anyone remotely adultlike, it led me to starting an OU degree in order for my brain not to go to mush completely lol. Have bookmarked your blog and will take the time to catch up when I can (autism son who doesn’t sleep means i’ve had no peace again tonight so off for an early night in the hope he will give in and sleep lol) )
Hello there, and thank you for taking the time to stop by. I can totally relate to the brain going to mush thing. What did you study? Is it the boy twin with Autism or do you have other children. That must make things even more complicated at times. No sleep can be like torture. Hope you get some rest, and any time you get the chance to have a cuppa, come a have a read and ay hello.
x
