4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 SPDickerman (323) - Texas, USA - JAN 28, 2012
Pours fizzy dark pink with a large light pink head. Smells exclusively of raspberries. Taste follows the nose perfectly; raspberries with a hint of maltiness. Light-bodied with a prickly texture and lots of carbonation; Lindemans Framboise with a slight astringency and fruitiness.

25 cl. bottle. Aroma is very fruity. A bit too much actually. Looks great, being deep reddish with pink 1 finger foam. Taste is very sweet, slight acidic and very lambic-ish. And also a bit candy-like.

Lindemans Framboise has the perfect blend of sweet and tart. Having both delicious flavor and low alcohol content makes this the perfect break beer to go along side some Belgium waffles. Equally enjoyable as a beverage on its own.

750ml Bottle. A hugely raspberry, tarty aroma with a murder scene for an appearance, completely bloody with a fuchsia head and gorgeous lacing. The palate was frothy and full, and the sour raspberry taste explosion faded to a sweet aftertaste. Lovely.

Bottle, as pictured. Pours a dark, opaque reddish-purple. Minimal head. Smells and tastes strongly of raspberries, as youd expect. Not as sour as I was expecting....sweet aftertaste after a bit of a tart bite up front. Pretty good overall, I enjoyed it.

My favorite Lambic of all time. Quintessential Framboise taste, very complex, tart, a bit sour and more sweet than most Lambic variates. Some people mix it with a bit of unfiltered wheat beer to tone it down. Serve it with fresh or dried fruit or with a fruity desert.
