As of April 2011 we averaged 25,000 views a month and have been featured on Ohdeedoh, Offbeatmama, Offbeathome, and iVillage. With the launch of Shelby Black in June 2011, both the blog and shop are advertised on a monthly basis across various rotating blogs with diverse audiences.
150 x 150 sponsorship spots are available for $5 a month. Ads will be posted on the first of each month and will rotate at random throughout the month. All ads include a monthly feature post and giveaways are always welcome. If you have a blog, a shop, a facebook, whatever, you should totally get an ad for it. The more sponsors we have, the more time I’m able to spend spouting off nonsense here for you on an almost daily basis. Sometimes even twice a day. Because you love it.
So what if you want to advertise and don’t want to spend the $5? Well, listen. I am totally open to trading ads – nay, I love trading ads – it’s a perfect win/win situation. But what if you don’t have ads on your pretty blog?? Don’t fret. I will accept these other things as form of payment: drawings, handmade anything, something hilarious you found at the thrift store and would like to mail me. I love mail. And I love the fact that you want to advertise. WIN (for both of us).
Now what if you want to advertise and do not have an ad or even the slightest idea how to make one? I WILL MAKE YOU ONE! YAY! For $5, I will make you a 150×150 ad and e-mail you the jpeg image to use at your disposal for the rest of your life. I will need to know what picture/colors/font you prefer and then I will make the magic happen.
Do you have to advertise on my blog in order for me to make you an ad? NO. Do I have to make your ad in order for you to advertise on my blog? NO.
I am also open to guest posts in lieu of an ad, any and all giveaways, honest reviews, and whatever else you have in mind.
