Long before VU, back in early 2007, Maggie writing at Okay, Fine, Dammit in a sort of catch-all, personal diary-style old-school SEO-ignorant way. She hardly ever writes here anymore, but she’s grateful she can when the rare mood strikes. Or nudges.

Maggie lives with her husband and two daughters in rural Wisconsin. She loves cheese and beer but, ironically, eschews stereotypes. (She also no longer gets to have that beer, dammit.) She likes to read, journal, knit, procrastinate, kiss her kids’ faces until her lips are chapped, take pictures, put on her sports bra as if she is going to work out because that totally counts, pull weeds in the rain, download iPhone apps, jog, hike, forget that it’s yoga night, bask in the glow of her very cool friends, wander around small towns looking for art, wear her handmade orange felt fedora while eating Swedish Fish, watch terrible television, and make lists. She quickly tires of speaking of herself in the third person, but They say it’s more professional so she does it anyway.
