ISTE Unplugged is a series of events that take place in, around, and with the support of the annual ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) conference, the "world's premier educational technology event (formerly the National Educational Computing Conference, NECC). Each year hundreds of educators interested in social media. technology, and teaching and learning build and participate in "unplugged"-style activities as a part of their ISTE experience. All of these events are free, so come join us (you do need to be registered for ISTE for all but SocialEdCon, which is open to anyone)!

We are pleased to announce the Library 2.011 world-wide virtual conference, November 2 - 3, 2011. The conference was held online, in multiple time zones, over the course of two days, and will be free to attend. There were 6,800 registrants from 153 countries.

The 2010 Global Education conference had over 400 sessions, over 60 keynote speakers, and over 15,000 participant logins. The 2011 Global Education Conference will be held November 14 - 18, online and free. Sessions will take place in multiple time zones and multiple languages over the five days. The conference is a collaborative and world-wide community project designed to significantly increase opportunities for globally-connecting education activities. Our goal is to help you make connections with other educators and students, and for this reason the conference is very inclusive and also is provides broad opportunities for participating and presenting. We have expert presenters and keynote speakers, but we also encourage presenters who either have not presented before or have not presented in Elluminate
