We ended 2011 in the best way possible - a book of poems and photographs for Adam Road Presbyterian Centre that would help encourage and uplift those who are needing encouragement.

100 Friends was a fundraiser for Phunk Studio's Transmission initiative to mentor the next generation of designers. With the brief to do a portrait of someone we admire or are inspired by, we contributed an ink drawing 連風浪也聽從他/Be Still.

Following our project with the National Art Gallery's Salted Fish and Koko the Great, the opportunity to work on another series of children's books presented itself.

The National Arts Council's Patron and Supporter of the Arts awards are given out every year, and each year, the award's event collateral had different decorative elements. In developing the 2011 invitation cards and programme booklet, we decided to strip away everything that was superfluous, even colour, leaving the focus on the real star for both gala events - the patron and supporter of the arts. No bells and whistles, only the shine of black on black.

Issue 5 of Eagle Eye explores the theme of political awareness. The cover provides pared-down symbols and icons that we have come to associate with the different forms of governance, political leadership and systems. Can you tell what each is supposed to represent?
