Bills Can’t Beat the Bush

The Buffalo Bills could not stop Reggie Bush who rushed for 203 yards, a career high.  Buffalo continues to struggle and Miami has been surprisingly hot the last few games.  The Bills started off the season hot but now it doesn’t seem like they will ever win again.  The fins who started off looking like they weren’t going to win a game this year have now tied the Bills.  The Bills could fall to last in the division again this year if they can’t get a win.  Spiller and Fitz had good games for the Bill but it wasn’t enough.

Bills officially out of Playoff Hunt

San Diego took the lead in this one and never really looked back.  They won this one by a score of 37-10.  Buffalo has now lost its 6th straight and is officially out of the playoff hunt.  It is now the 12 straight years the Bills will not make the playoffs.  The Charges are now 6-7 and have won 2 straight.

Many people thought this would be the year the Bills would finally end the streak.  The Bills got off to a great start but have really struggled lately.  This has to be a big disappointment now that the Bills are officially out.  The Chargers though still have some very slim playoff hopes.  The Chargers are going to have to be near perfect the rest of the way.

Bills Exit hunt as Titans Enter

As one team enters the playoff hunt another one leaves it.  The Titans are now in the Hunt for a playoff spot with a win vs. the Bills.  The Bills who started off so strong can’t seem to buy a win and lose their 5th straight.  Their season is pretty much over at this point.  The Titans on the other hand have life.  They won this game 23-17.

C. J.Spiller had a good game with no Fred Jackson.  The Bills made it interesting but they could not pull it off.  For the Titans Johnson had a huge game.

Jets Comeback to Beat Bills

The losing streak for the Bills continued Sunday and is now at 4.  After starting off the season at 5-2 the Bills were in first place and looking like a team that could actually make the playoffs.  But then they played the division rival Jets.  The Jets embarrassed the Bills in Buffalo to start the downfall.  The Bills had a chance to possibly save their season heading to the meadowlands against the Jets but Mark Sanchez’s 4 TDs were too much.  The final from NJ was 28-24.

The Jets trailed late in this one but clutch catches from Plaxico Burress and Santonio Holmes gave the Jets the lead.  Dustin Keller also had a big day for the Jets.  The Bills still had one final chance though but could not score. Rex Ryan’s D hung on for the win.  With the loss the Bills realistically won’t make the playoffs.  The Jets head to Washington next week to play the skins.  If the Jets can finish the season strong they have a good chance of making it back to the playoffs.

Bills fall to 5-5

The Buffalo Bills are in a free fall right now.  Injuries aren’t helping but the Bills are just lost.  After starting the season off looking like they were going to be a surprise this year they have lost 3 straight.  They got blowout by the Jets, when they let the Jets come into Buffalo and embarrass them.  They didn’t show up vs. the Cowboys, and now losing to the dolphins that only had 2 wins.  The final was 35-8.  The Fins offense shredded the Bills d.   It’s just been a bad month for the bills.

It’s not going to get any easier.  They have to go to the meadowlands Sunday to take on the Jets.  The Jets are also at 5-5 now.  The loser of this game will most likely kiss their season goodbye.

Bills Blown out 2nd Straight week

The Bills started this season off very strong.  But the last couple of weeks they have been very disappointing.  Last week they missed a golden opportunity at home vs. the rival NY Jets.  This week they didn’t even show up.

This game was never close.  The Cowboys got off to a quick start and never looked back.  Tony Romo had a huge game.  Romo completed his first 13 pass attempts.  He had some really nice plays and just destroyed the Bills D.  They had no answer for him.

This is 2 terrible games in a row now for the Bills.  Last week they got beat up pretty bad at home by the Jets.  The Bills could only manage to score one TD as the Cowboys won this one 44-7.

The only highlight for the Bills came when WR David Nelson scored and ran across field to give his girlfriend who is a Cowboys cheerleader a hug and the ball.
