Turn your Laptop into a Wifi Router Hotspot : Mhotspot

How many of you use USB Broadband dongle to connect Internet in your laptop and use that third class dialup internet in your mobile phone and other devices? Many of us do that and that’s only because we think that there is no way to connect usb internet dongle to WIFI mobile phone. Now you can do this , and the only thing you need is a Laptop having inbuilt Wifi and Wifi in the device which you are going to connect. Normally we think that Laptop having a wifi cannot act as a router. Now you can.
Here Goes The Procedure :-
1.Download and Install the mhotspot software from here
2.Open the application and click “ Setup Hotspot “ and Fill the Hotspot name and Password
3.Click Ok and then Click Start
You are done with mhotspot settings and now you have to configure you network settings
1.Go to Control Panel –> Network and Sharing Center -> Change Adapter Settings.
2.In the Network Connections, Right Click on the connection of your usb dongle you use to connect to internet and click properties in my case it is “MTS Internet”
7.Go to Sharing tab above and do the following
- Tick Check – Allow other network users to connect through this Internet Connection
- Home Networking Connection – New Wireless connection (made by mhotspot)
This will setup that network as your Internet access point and now whenever you need to turn your laptop a wifi router, Just click “Start” in the mhostpot application.
