Rockin’ Out with the Voice Rockrz Mic ~ Giveaway

August 30, 2011 By Mel 178 Comments

We are a music lovin’ family….not that we’ll ever quit our day jobs, but we love to rock it out, dance it out, and just have fun whenever music is involved. spacer Now there’s a new toy on the market that allows kids to rock it out at home, either in front of the tv or even with their personal MP3 player.

The Voice Rockrz Mic, from First Act, comes in pink or blue and transforms a child’s world into a stage for performances galore. This microphone actually has a few different settings. Kids can have the applause effect, a drumroll effect, and 3 different voice effects, including Hi-Note, Echo-Tastic and Robot-Riffic. My boys were completely mesmerized by the Hi-Note voice; I’m not sure why. Maybe because Jacob has watched the Fred movie over and over and over (ugh, just sayin’). No, but seriously, they had a LOT of fun with this microphone, and it did provide a lot of laughs, as you can see in the video below.

The Voice Rockrz Mic is wireless, so they can carry it all over the house or even outside if they want. They can sing along to their favorite tunes, dancing it out, not having to worry about tripping over a cord and thus tearing up equipment. Plus it comes with accessories like a blue skull ring and bracelet like we received (also available in pink). spacer The bracelet and ring can be used to change the voice effects by tapping on a certain spot on the mic. We had a slight problem getting the effect to change every single time, but the kids still had a blast.

You can purchase the Voice Rockrz Mic for $24.99 this fall, and it’s geared for ages 4+. Be sure to Follow Voice Rockrz on Facebook.

The great news is that we’re giving one MamaBuzz reader a Voice Rockrz Mic, so your kids and their friends can rock it out too! You can enter to win by doing one or more of the following; just be sure to leave a separate comment for each way that you enter. I’ll draw the winner, via random.org, on Tuesday, September 20. This giveaway is open to U.S. only. Good luck, and have a wonderful day!
