FluffyRump’s upgrade
For those who don’t know, I started FluffyRump out of my home about 8 months ago. It has been a great marriage of promoting products I believe in while remaining a full time mom and wife. Our family has enjoyed the journey so far and are looking forward to our next big step: renovating part of our home to better accommodate FluffyRump. Our apartment once had an open balcony, but now it is enclosed with glass windows and that space will become our official office. The former office space will become a guest room until we are blessed with another baby. At that time, the guest bed will become our son’s bed that he can share when we have guests (i.e. grandparents) because it has a twin sized trundle bed underneath. Did you follow that?? If you need to go back and read it again, don’t feel bad, I’ve had to explain it more than once to most people I have told.
Renovations should not take too long. I’m hoping for the end date to be before the end of this month. The four main things that are on our list are windows, bamboo flooring wall extension and paint. One is done and the second is halfway there. Our laundry area is attached to the office and is also getting a facelift. Rockin Green laundry detergent is having their annual contest for the tidiest and messiest laundry rooms. I really want to enter in this contest, but I’m afraid my laundry won’t be finished by February 27th. Our cabinets were delayed because of the holidays so we will be lucky if our cabinets are here and installed by the 27th. Since we will have some more room due to this renovation, FluffyRump is also considering selling more cloth diaper brands. We know we are limited now by having three brands, Fuzzibunz, Bummis and GroVia. If you’re reading this now and one of those brands is not the brand you prefer, please leave a comment or write on our Facebook page about the brand you wish to see us carry and why!
