All campuses of the Maya Angelou Public Charter School and the Maya Angelou Academy are accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Secondary Schools through 2013.
During the 2011-2012 school year, the Maya Angelou Schools will support more than 600 students across its campuses. The school offers a holistic program that focuses on accelerated learning to help students who are significantly below grade level in reading and math, have special learning needs, or are disconnected from the educational system and need a second chance to succeed. Our goal is to help students reach their potential and prepare for college, career, and a lifetime of success.
