Is the material in this website protected by copyright?
You bet it is! The material in this website belongs to the owners of this website, and is protected by copyright laws in local and foreign jurisdictions as well as international treaties. Furthermore, most our pictures are registered in the US, which means that there is a mandatory penalty for violating our copyright, regardless of whether you made any profit from it, you will also be ordered to pay all our legal costs should it come to it. The material in our website cannot be used without prior written consent from the owner.
Please, ask for permission before you use our material. We may allow you to use limited portions of our content for non-commercial purposes, and at least we expect you to link back to us. Play nice, it’s good for the soul.
If you wish to license our pictures, or commission some from us, we are available, please contact us for a quote. Our prices are very reasonable.
Have you found material belonging to you in our site?
All the photos and material in our site have been either donated to us, produced by us, or paid by us. It is possible that one of our members could, unbeknownst to us, reproduced in our forums material belonging to somebody else. We are vigilant and proactively avoid this type of situation.
We have the utmost respect for copyright, if you have found material belonging to you, please contact us immediately and, after verifying that that is indeed the case, we will promptly eliminate it.
Our Privacy Statement (because it does matter)
The content of this site is as innocuous as it can be. Our forums are moderated and, frankly, we are just a bunch of nice people who ponder the advantages of using a tostón masher over using the bottom of a glass bottle. Nothing to be excited about.
Comments are moderated and screened. Our forum moderators will, within reason and reach of our resources, try to keep the content child and work-safe. Forum visitors are supposed to tell us if they are minors when they subscribe. If they are minors they are asked to obtain their parents’ permission before joining, but hey! kids can lie too. Your child will be pretty safe here anyways.
“What do you do with the information that you collect from visitors?”
As frequent victims ourselves of that modern plague, the spammer, we respect your privacy in the same way that we wish everybody did. We do not give away, sell or use the information that you give to us in any way, other than for its intended purpose. We use cookies to collect statistics, but this in no way compromise the safety of, nor does it reveal sensitive data in your computer.
Forum members may receive updates on threads they participate, as well as changes to recipes and articles they have commented on. They can choose not to receive this updates by changing the settings in their User Control Panel.
When you subscribe to our mailing list you will receive updates every time we add new content to our site. This email may contain advertisement. If you have any other questions about our policy, please, contact us.
This site uses cookies (not the delicious kind) to collect statistics, and to confirm visits to our sponsored links, these cannot be traced back to you, or disclose your personal information.

Comments
We reserve the right to delete comments for whatever reason we can come up with. In reality only spam, rude comments and off-topic comments will be deleted. Don’t make me tell your mom.
We will permanently block people that spam or leave rude comments.

We will receive a few cents (or dollars if you buy like a giant TV) out of your purchase from the business. This commission is built-into their pricing, so it doesn’t cost you anything. Almost all the products we recommend (unless otherwise clearly stated) we have bought with our own hard-earned-but-scarce money, and we’ll inform you of it, We may also suggest products that we have not bought but deem interesting or useful, we’ll tell you either way.
