Wynkoop Brewing Co.’s B3K is a black lager, German-style schwarzbier that clocks in at 5.9%ABV.  It is brewed with German, Caramunich, debittered black, and beechwood-smoked malts as well as noble hops.  Aging for five weeks, it takes three times as long to make as Wynkoop’s canned ales.

Biloxi Blonde Beer, formerly brewed by Coast Brewing, is being brought back to life by Lazy Magnolia Brewing Co.  Biloxi Blonde was a victim of Hurricane Katrina.  Not only was the beer and the brewing equipment destroyed in the storm, but so was the recipe.

Blue Point Brewing (Long Island, NY) will be launching in Georgia in April.  The beer will start shipping in late March.  Blue Point was founded in 1998 by Mark Burford and Pete Cotter.  The brewery produces about 42,000 barrels a year.  Distribution in Georgia will be through Savannah Distribution.

For the Georgia launch, Blue Point will ship:
